Muazzez Abaci was born on 12 November 1947 in Ankara, Turkey. She was married to Hasan Heybetli, Atilla Kurtbas and Abdurrahman Abaci. She died on 12 November 2025 in Rochester, New York, USA.
Graduated from the Ankara State Conservatory Department of Singing, took the stage from the 1970s and became known as one of the most powerful voices of Turkish art music.
