Christopher Lee Herod is an American filmmaker, actor, director, and cinematographer based near Nashville, TN. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran and former Army Reservist, he completed three deployments to Iraq and three deployments to Afghanistan before transitioning to a career in film.

Christopher studied theatre, directing, and dance at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, developing a strong foundation in performance and storytelling. His directorial debut came with the short film Rachel's Wish, which set the stage for a diverse body of work spanning narrative, commercial, and music video production. His debut as a feature film cinematographer came with Bachelor Santa, highlighting his ability to combine artistic vision with technical precision.

He serves as Director of Production for Kentucky Sound Stage & GR Services and is the owner of RiverCity Production Rentals, providing professional film gear rentals to productions throughout the region. Through his company, Christopher Lee Herod Productions, he works holistically as a filmmaker-often directing, shooting, and operating camera, lighting, and grip to deliver cinematic results across all types of projects.

A dedicated advocate for veteran creatives, Christopher frequently contributes his skills and services to veteran-centered projects through his non-profit Stoned Hero Productions. His unique background, blending military discipline with artistic training, allows him to approach filmmaking with both precision and creative passion.
