Zirenia Esquivel(I)

Zirenia Escobedo Esquivel was born in Mexico City, Mexico. Her interest for film developed at a young age, she attended an Editing and Montage program at Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC) in Mexico City to then pursue her Bachelor in Fine Arts for Film at New York Film Academy (NYFA) in Los Angeles, California, USA. She has credits in several short films as Producer, Art and Light Department. Three directed by her: Cinderellas (2015), Aventurera (2016) and Honey Tears (2017). Zirenia's projects focus on gender, identity, female gaze and the streets that surround her.
