French-German film producer, author and journalist. After 20 years as a journalist and international correspondent in Paris, Berlin, Brussels and Strasbourg for The Associated Press (AP) and Agence France-Presse (AFP), Yann has launched in 2021 the documentary production unit of AFP Group, Factstory/AFP Docs, producing factual documentaries that go beyond the headlines, with a strong emphasis on current affairs, geopolitics, environment, history and society. Since 2025, Yann is a reader at the Procirep-Angoa film funding TV commission.
