Candie Renee is a highly sought-after, licensed professional makeup artist.
Based in Oklahoma and a proud member of the Choctaw Nation, Candie works primarily in the film industry. Her career began in theater, where she developed a love for both performing on stage and creating character looks behind the scenes. Frequently asked to teach others how to apply stage makeup, she discovered a deep passion for education.
Candie now serves as the Makeup Artist Mentor for Dead Center University, a program in partnership with the OCCC Film Program and the Dead Center Film Festival. She also developed a Makeup in Film workshop, which she has taught at several technology centers across the state. In addition, Candie serves on the Board of Advisors for the Oklahoma State Board of Cosmetology.
When she's not on set doing makeup, Candie is producing or writing for film and television.
