Biography

Jonathan De La Torre is a Mexican-born actor, writer, and producer, born in Mexico City and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He is known for his lead performance in The Long Walk of Carlos Guerrero, which was praised as an "excellent lead performance" by acclaimed critic Claudia Puig, and also recognized by The Hollywood Times for its standout portrayal.

His film credits include Fiat Lux 5000, which premiered at the Los Angeles Latino International Film Festival (LALIFF), and Micks Out, where he portrayed ICE Agent Miguel Rodriguez (RIIFF, Newport Beach Film Festival)

De La Torre is also an accomplished filmmaker. He wrote, produced, and starred in the award-winning short film Cartas Para Axél, which premiered at Outfest Los Angeles and screened internationally in Mexico City, Spain, and across the United States. His short film Avivar premiered at Outfest in 2023, receiving strong reviews and industry coverage from major publications including Deadline and Variety.

On stage, he appeared in Valentina y La Sombra del Diablo at the Frida Kahlo Theater in Los Angeles. He continues to work across film, television, and commercial projects.
