Biography

Philip Terry is a professional music artist and actor, based out of Cincinnati, Ohio. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati with dual Bachelor degrees in Political Science and Psychology, he also received an MBA with a concentration in Marketing from Xavier University. Philip's acting career began with a role in a Chilean soap opera while he was studying and performing in Valparaiso, Chile. Realizing his love for the art, he pursued more acting roles upon his return to the U.S. Since 2014, Philip has appeared in many feature films, short films (independent and non-independent), and performed in theater productions for audiences of over 90,000.

Philip's music is Do Your Dance Publishing. Do Your Dance (D.Y.D.), which means "be yourself, do your own thing, and pursue what you were put on this Earth to do, regardless of how others feel". The D.Y.D. movement was built for inspiration, to push people to do things they never thought to try before. Do Your Dance Publishing has signed a few artists. Philip creates his own music under the stage name, Phantom. Phantom's music is filled with wordplay, metaphors, and similes. Most of his music is "conscious" hip-hop but he does create the occasional "party" song. Though Phantom's work classifies him as a rapper, the music he creates has a range of influence from acoustic to EDM. His albums, Mr. Magic and Last Call, are available everywhere. Along with many singles, albums, and EP's released under the label.
