Maria Gal is a Brazilian actress, host, and producer working across film, television, and streaming. She is known for her work in 3% (Netflix), the telenovela Amor Perfeito (TV Globo), and the feature film Câncer com Ascendente em Virgem (Globo Filmes).

She also hosted Pequena África (Globoplay), expanding her presence in socially driven storytelling.

As the founder and CEO of Move Maria, she develops original content focused on diversity, representation, and global impact. She is currently producing a feature film based on the life of Carolina Maria de Jesus, one of Brazil’s most influential Black writers, in co-production with Grupo Globo.

Her work bridges Brazil and the international market, positioning her as both a creative force and a producer of culturally relevant stories.
