- Maria Scenna can only be described as an anomaly. The only intention she had was to be a singer. Sadly, life had other plans.
Her parents enrolled her in classical ballet, tap, and jazz dance classes at six years old, which she continued for the next eight years. She excelled at music and writing, and was an advanced reader for her young age. She also took violin lessons and was almost accepted into the Boston Conservatory. She is in fluent in three languages: English, Italian, & Spanish.
Her inclination for language arts and storytelling motivated her to study Drama and Creative Writing, which she holds a B.A. from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. Maria held internships at magazines such as "The Improper Bostonian" and worked in journalism at Harvard Law & "Boston Magazine," before transitioning to fashion writing. She also had a brief foray in songwriting, releasing several EDM tracks as a singer-songwriter and later taking an interest in acting.
Maria moved to New York City in 2019, where she worked as a sales associate for several luxury brands and as a freelancer writer in Manhattan and for Ralph Lauren. In 2022, she relocated to Los Angeles and has appeared in a variety of projects from commercials, feature films, social media ads, UGC content, photo shoots, vertical series, influencer videos, and more. She continues to study her craft, be in the know, and think outside the box.

- We live in a culture where we're more connected than ever before, but in reality, we're isolated. I think the advent of the internet and especially social media is the root cause of this. We're all living in our own little bubbles that people rarely reach out to one another. And when someone does, the recipient isn't even listening. So the real question is, are you listening?
- I always knew I wanted to be a performer. In fact, I wanted to be a musician. I was always naturally drawn towards music. I started playing violin at eight years old in school, and I was really good at it! I even sang in chorus and acapella groups. I started taking private violin lessons in middle school, and my mom was ready to sign me to the conservatory. But I had other plans.
