Genadzi Buto

Genadzi Buto is a director, artist, and animator working at the intersection of animation, experimental cinema, and contemporary art. He graduated from the Belarusian Academy of Arts. He started out in motion design and animation for TV commercials and music videos, later shifting his focus to film.As an independent artist, he creates short animated films and experimental video works that explore new forms and the possibilities of the medium. His films have been shown at international festivals and contemporary art exhibitions, receiving a number of awards.He also collaborates with major animation studios, working as a director and storyboard artist on feature-length animated films.Today, he develops an interdisciplinary practice that brings together animation, video art, and experimental approaches to storytelling.
