- Paige E. Joustra is an Australian actress, born and raised in Melbourne, and is the eldest of two children. Her father is an Australian of Dutch ancestry and her estranged mother is German/Armenian.
At age 15, she undertook a casual job to pay for acting classes at St. Martins Youth Theatre where she trained for a couple of years while attending high school. Before graduating, Paige was heavily involved in her school's theatre programs landing lead roles in her school's plays, helping run the theatre sports club, and in her final year, she became one of the drama captains.
Once she graduated, Paige moved out and began auditioning for screen roles. She found success as the lead in several short films, most notably Pulp (2025) (MIFF 2025, St Kilda Film Fest 2026, FlickerFest 2026), Hiraeth (2025) (St Kilda Film Fest 2025), Small (2024) (St Kilda Film Fest 2024) and Feast on the Young (2017) (MonsterFest Victorian Short Winner 2018). In 2019 she landed her feature film debut as Charlie in The Library Boys (2022) and in 2024 worked on her second feature as Lily in Interloper.
In 2024, she took to the stage as Juliet in a production of Romeo & Juliet before directing her first adapted production of The Picture of Dorian Gray in 2025. The same year Paige also co-created her cabaret Queer Enough? for the Melbourne Fringe Festival.
