- All of the performing arts are basically story-telling, and for me there's something very primal about gathering together and sharing something. It can be illuminating or sad or funny, but when it's done well, it's an affirmation of life for both performer and audience. That's what I'm always interested in exploring.....bringing out a reaction or emotion.
