Biography

Kush Gupta is a writer, director and creative producer with over 16 years of experience across Indian and international film, television and advertising. He has worked with established Indian filmmakers and production houses including Rajkumar Hirani Films, Mahaveer Jain Films and Sanjay Dutt Productions, and has completed three Indian feature films as an Associate Director.

Kush has since expanded into writing, directing and producing his own international projects. His credits include award-winning short films, music videos, major advertising campaigns for brands including Disney, Mercedes-Benz, Oppo and Realme, and the international feature White, filmed in Colombia in English and Spanish, where he worked as Creative Producer from script and budgeting through production alongside an international filmmaking team.

He is the creator, writer and director of The Abandoned, an international survival thriller series, and recently completed Scare BnB, a Screen Australia-backed Gujarati supernatural comedy-drama feature filmed in Melbourne, which he wrote and directed. Kush's work is driven by a focus on culturally rooted stories with international appeal, combining strong character-driven storytelling with an understanding of global production and audiences.
