Robert De Domenici is a British actor, born and raised in London known for playing enigmatic loners and complex, conflicted anti-heroes, bringing quiet intensity and emotional depth to the screen. He is part Italian, with family origins in Naples, and he is also of part Jewish descent. Whilst growing up in London, his friends gave him the nickname ''Robby D''. He has worked in film, theatre, and television, having started his career in a string of independent films and landing roles in Off-West End theatre plays.

In 2016, he made his screen debut in The Second Shepherds' Play, a film based on the medieval mystery play written by the Wakefield Master. His other film credits include Come Down (2018), The Shaman (2018), and Liberté (2020), an LGBT film about a complex and conflicted young man who decides to become transgender. His theatre credits include the Royal Shakespeare Company Open Stages production of ''Macbeth'' (2015), ''Dead White Males'' (2016), ''Stags and Hens'' (2016), ''The Idiot'' (2017), and Jez Butterworth's ''Mojo'' (2018). In 2021, he played musician and songwriter Tony Banks in the television docudrama Breaking The Band: Genesis for ITV. Subsequently in the same year, he performed in the dinner theatre show ''Festa di Famiglia'' at Bunga Bunga in Covent Garden as well as starring in the independent arthouse film Until the End of Time. In 2022, he performed at Theatre Peckham for the Peckham Fringe in ''Hayfever'' as well as multi-rolling in the Canadian play UK premier of ''Yaga'' at the Drayton Arms Theatre. In 2023, he showcased his versatility playing Brooklyn strip club owner Dominic Fabrizzi in the Italian-American comedy show ''Tony n' Tina's Wedding'' directed by Larry Pellegrini at the ArcelorMittal Orbit in Stratford which successfully transferred to the West End. In 2024, he played Mo Schwartz in the Jewish coming of age film The Ballad of Squeaky Clean Mo directed by Daniel Williams, where he worked as a kitchen porter in a restaurant for two weeks in preparation for the role. He then starred in the lead role as the Navigator in Tizian Herzberger's WW1 psychological thriller Gaslights (2026), in which he immersed himself in extensive research on naval navigation and the psychological effects of Munchausen syndrome, filmed in the Virtual Production Studio LEDcave in Cologne, Germany. He then went onto play Italian adult film star Eduardo Mancini in the drama Tonight or Never (2025) directed by Jiahao Liu, where he studied the intricacies of performance anxiety among male actors in the adult industry, showcasing his dedication to delivering genuine portrayals. In the same year, he made his commercial debut for the Italian pizza brand Crosta Mollica. He then collaborated once again with director Tizian Herzberger in the Italian-American vertical web series Quintuplets (2025), where he multi-rolled all four characters. Later that year he played the lead role of grifter; Lowell in the 1930's action drama On The Tracks directed by Daniel Riccio and playing abstract artist Hansy Schwartzman in the dark comedy Talkshit (2026) directed by David A. Poric filmed in Hamburg. He then went onto perform his second commercial for Santander in Madrid. His latest credit is multi rolling as Pepito Abatino and Lew Leslie in the stage production of The Rise of Josephine Baker at Riverside Studios in Hammersmith.

He trained at the Stella Adler Studio of Acting under Jon Korkes and The Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute with method acting teacher Lola Cohen. He is also a certified personal trainer and boxing coach.
