Biography

Emmett Preciado is an American transgender actor and singer-songwriter of Spanish, Mexican and European descent. He grew up in Wisconsin and actively participated in school musicals as a child and into his teen years. He started to seriously pursue his acting career after dropping out of college to physically transition.

Preciado is known for his role as Rowan on Freeform's Good Trouble and for his Guest Star role on ABC’s hit drama The Good Doctor. His role as Rio Gutierrez earned him acclaim and coverage for his positive portrayal of a trans man. Previously, he guest starred as Mateo Cruz on ABC’s Rebel.
