- Ritankar Nandy is an award-winning filmmaker and director whose work spans commercial films, branded content, documentaries, and narrative filmmaking. His body of work explores human connection, emotion, and the stories within everyday life through heartfelt moments.
Ritankar began his filmmaking career in India, where he worked extensively in advertising and directed more than 40 films for brands including JK Cement, Colgate Palmolive, Dabur, Flipkart, Bayer, and others. His JK Cement Diwali film was featured by Google India (Think with Google) as a case study for its relative ad recall lift and consideration lift, and received multiple ET Brand Equity Awards. His Colgate Palmolive experiential campaign, The Investigation Film, was recognized at the Effie Awards and Kyoorius Creative Awards. His work has also been featured across leading advertising and creative publications including Campaign India, Ads of the World, Campaign Brief Asia, afaqs!, e4m, and ET Brand Equity.
Now based in Los Angeles, Ritankar continues to develop a body of work centered around human stories, relationships, and the human experience of everyday life.
