- Paul Van Scott is an award winning American actor. Born to a pair of dedicated schoolteachers, his early and teen years were spent in Manassas, Virginia, a suburb of Washington DC, where he honed his passion for the world of film, television, and broadcasting. Paul's journey into the realm of entertainment started in 1989 when he embarked on a career in commercial radio at a small station in Luray, Virginia. He bounced around to several stations on the East Coast finding success at every stop. When he wasn't spinning records on the radio he was doing play-byplay radio sports for various Universities including Mountain State University and Florida Tech. By the turn of the century he was doing drive time radio on a top 40 station in Beckley, West Virginia. There he earned the prestigious distinction of being named the highest-rated drive-time radio DJ in the United States by Arbitron in the Spring of 2001. Despite his remarkable success as a beloved on-air personality, Paul harbored a deep-rooted aspiration to pursue acting. In 2016, he decided to jump in and start a new chapter in his life, venturing into the world of acting. While this transition came later in life, it proved to be a transformative decision. Remarkably, on only his second audition, Paul secured the lead role in the acclaimed cult horror film "Tattletale Corpse." This auspicious debut marked the beginning of a prolific acting career that has seen him consistently land prominent roles in both television and film, cementing his status as a respected and accomplished actor. In his first 9 years he landed speaking roles in over 80 films and TV productions, including a lead role in the Lifetime Movie Network thriller "Danger In The Countryside" in 2025. He has also appeared in nationals commercials, a prominent music video and more.
