Biography

Puneet Raj Singh is a film-maker based in Chandigarh, India. An editing graduate from the Film & Television Institute of India (Pune), he has edited the feature narrative Bus No 7 (2023) which screened at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne. A short documentary about trees as public spaces in Chandigarh, Through the Dappled Light (2025) was directed by Puneet under the Nagari Film Competition 2025. He has also worked in several short narratives The Usher (2024), The Cycle (2025), Shaaman (2025); the films have been screened at prestigious film festivals like IFFLA, MAMI, IFFS and NYIFF. He also curated a Short-Films Program for Indian Habitat Festival 2025. He was a part of the film reviewing team for Dharamshala International Film Festival 2025.
