- As a teenager, I dreamed of an acting career. But I didn't know how to get there. After finishing school, I applied to two universities: GITIS in Moscow and the pedagogical university in the remote small town of Yoshkar-Ola in the Mari El Republic, where I was living at the time. And with one exam left to take at GITIS and the pedagogical university, I chose Yoshkar-Ola. I was afraid of my lisp; I was very embarrassed by it.
- My wife is my main advisor, and I'm very lucky to have such a wise woman. I almost never make important decisions without her opinion.
