Thalia Tran

Thalia Tran was born in Newport Beach, California. As a child, she took vocal lessons, and it was her vocal teacher who recommended that she take acting lessons to help improve her overall performance skills. In addition to her acting pursuits, she developed a lifelong passion for the arts, including playing the piano and the guitar.

She began her professional on-screen career appearing in early projects such as the recurring role of Linda in Tiny Feminists (2016) and playing Sadie in Hotel Du Loone (2018). She expanded her film portfolio by portraying Raina in the feature film Little (2019) and gained further recognition for her television work playing Charlotte Perry in the NBC drama series Council of Dads (2020). She also made guest appearances in Sydney to the Max (2020).

Transitioning into prominent voice and major franchise roles, she provided the voice of the toddler con artist Little Noi in the Disney animated feature film Raya and the Last Dragon (2021). Following an appearance in Station 19 (2022), she achieved global recognition when she was cast as the stoic and sharp-witted Mai in Netflix's live-action fantasy adaptation Avatar: The Last Airbender (2024).
