- Solveiga was born in Vilnius, Lithuania. At the age of 18, she moved to London, United Kingdom, where she graduated from London Metropolitan University with a Bachelor's degree in Digital Media. She was then introduced to filmmaking and fell in love with the film medium ever since.
Solveiga is an accomplished multi-talented filmmaker whose career encompasses cinematography, directing, writing, and colouring. Her debut short film, Open My Eyes, which she wrote, produced, shot, and directed with minimal crew and resources, managed to see the world and receive recognition globally, bringing home ten awards and nominations.
A significant milestone in her career came in 2017, when she joined Digitek Production House as a Self-Shooting Director. Over the following eight years, she not only developed her voice as a cinematographer but also discovered a deep passion for colour grading, which she wants to pursue as her secondary profession.
Today, Solveiga freelances as a Directing Cinematographer and Colourist, driven by a curiosity and commitment to lifelong learning. Her ultimate goal is to become a renowned, accomplished worldwide cinematographer who, at the end of her creative journey, could give back by mentoring and teaching the next generation of cinematographers.
