Biography

Alyssa is a proud Neurodivergent and Queer Actress located in Melbourne, Australia. Alyssa has been nominated for and won various awards as an Actress at film festivals globally for her roles in short films 'Enigma' and 'Thea and Lucia'. Alyssa has also begun to make a name for herself as a Director and had her Directing debut with short film 'Fostered' in 2022 where she was nominated for a variety of 'Best First Time Director' awards as well as the film winning a number of awards for 'Best Thriller'. Following this success, Alyssa created Fitzcarraldo Pictures, a female led production company passionate about telling women's stories and with the aim of utilizing the power of story telling to shine a light on the experience of underrepresented communities. She has trained as an Actor extensively and this training includes a 12 month Screen Actors course through NIDA open, a 3 month full time course in Los Angeles through AAFTA and Directing with AFTRS online and the Sundance Collab Program.
