Biography

Maya Shoham was born and raised in a small town outside of Tel Aviv, Israel. She tried many different after-school activities like drawing, dancing, track and field, before finally landing on acting. She attended Israeli's leading arts high school, where she was challenged and pushed by industry professionals. After graduating, Maya began her mandatory military service as part of the IDF's Spokesperson unit. There, she was encouraged to think outside the box, take initiatives and learn the value of teamwork.

When she finished her service, she could finally pursue her life long dream of moving to NYC to perform and create art. She attended the Atlantic Acting School Conservatory for two and a half years, while simultaneously working on screen and stage projects outside of school.

Some of her screen credits include starring in the White Rhino Production's short film "Red Skies" where she was nominated for best actress in London International Film Festival and most recently, co-producing, co-writing and starring in the Naughty Cow Production's newest short film "Midnight Cannoli".
