Biography

Bre Jacobs is an actor based in Atlanta, GA. Born and raised in Kansas City, MO, she received her BFA in Musical Theatre Performance from Columbia College Chicago. While in Chicago she performed in several notable stage productions, earning her a Black Theatre Alliance Award and recognition as one of the Chicago Tribune's Hot New Face of Chicago Theatre.

Credits include: Route 187 (premiering on Paramount+ this fall), (Caroline, Or Change (Firebrand Theatre Company), and The Color Purple (Marietta's New Theatre in the Square).

Bre is a member of Lena Waithe's Hillman Grad Mentorship Program, where she continues to develop her artistry with a collection of distinguished artists.

Bre is dedicated to telling stories that explore the humanity of people in underrepresented communities in order to amplify the voices that are fashioned to be silenced.
