Biography

Born in Santa Cruz he started hitting waves at the age of 5 he said he always felt more at home in the ocean then on land. He begin competing when he was just 9 years old, he won amateur events and obtained sponsors at the age of 12 and went pro at 14. Two years later went on to be named the California State Champion. With rapid success, he sought out tougher challenges and bigger waves all around the world. Before he knew it he was going 35mph on 100 foot waves and he knew he was addicted. In 2016 Nic was crowned the champion of Titans of Mavericks (The super Bowl of big wave surfing). Nic now has sights set on winning the World Championship, and discovering and riding the biggest waves the ocean has to offer.

Not only his he a amazing champion surfer, you can find him hitting the silver screen the films such as American Violence along side Bruce Dern and Denise Richards, Ghost Babe, Element 2100 and soon to be out Kulture Shock.

Nic is the Brand Ambassador for the Princess Charlene of Monaco Foundation. He lends his passion and enthusiasm for children's water sports, safety, and education, helping the foundation by developing its projects in the US.
