Belén Oyola-Rebaza

Belén is a Peruvian American bilingual actress based in Los Angeles,CA whose work is deeply rooted in her Latina heritage and lifelong commitment to social justice. She always knew she wanted to be an actor, inspired by her parents, passionate public school teachers, who taught her that love, creativity, and integrity matter above all. At 17, she moved to Finland from Peru to study Suzuki and Werbeck vocal techniques. She later trained at the National School of Dramatic Arts (Peru) and continued her studies at The American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City. She spent seven seasons performing with GALA Hispanic Theatre in Washington, DC, before transitioning to film and television. Her performance in Horizon earned nominations for "Best Actress in a Drama" at the Official Latino Film Festival and the Widescreen Film Festival, and she won Best Actress at the Infocus Short Film Festival for El Luchador. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Belén brings emotional depth, cultural authenticity, and a natural comedic instinct to every role she inhabits.
