Roseline Mouana

French-Canadian actor Roseline Mouana was born in Ottawa, Ontario, to Isabelle Seckler, an editor, and Sébastien Mouana-Bankouezi, a musician and professional chef. Her mother was born in Paris, France, and her father was born in Pointe-Noire, Congo. At age 3, Roseline was enrolled in the professional ballet program at The School of Dance, affiliated with the National Ballet of Canada. Roseline was only 8 years old when she co-hosted her father's radio show, reading African news in English. At the age of 11, she was dancing solo performances at the National Arts Centre in Ottawa. A graduate of Concordia University in Art & Design, with a focus on creative direction and advertising, Roseline is also a certified yoga teacher (RYT500) and holistic nutritionist (CNP). Fluent in French, English and Spanish, now learning Italian, Roseline holds dual citizenship Canada-France. She now splits her time between Toronto, Central America and Sardinia, training and working. She stars in Designated Survivor (2019) featuring Keifer Sutherland, and Shadowhunters (2018) on Netflix. She can be seen in The Perfect Stalker (2016) and working alongside Tim Reid in The Rooftop Christmas Tree (2016) by award-winning director David Winning. She also appeared in various independent film projects, along with print and bilingual commercial work for Visa, VIA Rail Canada, and Cineplex VIP, including representing women over 50 for Knix women's apparel (2023).
