Biography

With a career in the film and advertising industry spanning a period of over 18 years, Dimeji Ajibola has found success in promoting brands and producing contents for the advertising, television and film. Dimeji Ajibola started off as an animator in the early years of his career and immediately became a darling in the industry offering solutions that were initially sought after abroad. Dimeji was responsible for many award winning TV ads like some of the MTN Yello animated ads, Coca-cola TV ads and many others.

An Alumnus of the New York Film Academy and Animation Mentor Academy; both in California, his first movie (hoodrush) was released in 2012 after a series of short movies. Hoodrush was a musical and it became an instant hit due to its original concept and music. The movie won the best African movie awards at the Greenme international film festival in Germany 2013; it also receives 12 nominations and won the best male act and best overall sound track at the Nollywood Movies Awards, 2012; the movie also won best supporting act at the AMAA awards 2013. Ovy's voice, a film directed by Dimeji Ajibola also became the best and number one ranked movie out of all the movies on the Iroko TV platform for the year 2017
