Biography

Jeremiah Ralph Carbajal is an American musician, who is best known as the lead singer and songwriter for the alternative rock band Postcards For Sympathy. Carbajal also plays piano and synthesizers, where he also writes all the songs for Postcards For Sympathy as well. Born in 2002, he comes from a musical background where his father, Ralph Carbajal, was a member of the 1994 hip-hop group The Youngbucks, where they released one record under the label Thump Records, titled "Buckin' Around", which allowed them to tour around the U.S. and Japan. At the age of 16, Jeremiah begun writing and directing his own short films up until the 2020 year where he stepped away from the camera and started recording demos in his cousin's small studio shed. In 2021, Carbajal decided to start playing music with a band, where he then formed the name Postcards For Sympathy.

Despite shying away from writing and directing, Jeremiah is nowhere near counting out returning in back of the camera, despite currently being in front of it with his band, where he eventually looks to reprise the pre-production status on his 2 year old script "Big Skies".

On December 8th, 2023 Postcards For Sympathy released their debut EP "We Send You Godspeed", after their most streamed single "Come Home" released 3 months before. Carbajal, alongside his Postcards For Sympathy brethren's, aim to release their second EP in the 2024 year.
