Born in Perth, Western Australia, to Greek parents, Samuel transitioned from a background in professional football (soccer) and civil engineering to study acting at a West Australian acting school, driven by his love of films and all things screen.

Praise for Samuel's previous roles cite him as a "vulnerable," "visceral," and "raw" performer who has the ability to "authentically bring himself to everything he does."

Recently in 2024, he was a finalist for the Atlantic Acting School Scholarship. In 2023, he was named a finalist for the Carmen Duncan Scholarship. In 2021, he was a finalist for Equity's Home and Away Graduate Internship by Mullinars Casting.
