Biography

Michael Blomquist is an award-winning screenwriter, playwright and comedian from Indianapolis, Indiana and currently active in Los Angeles, California. He discovered and fostered a passion for storytelling from an early age, and his experiences in sketch and stand-up comedy in college only furthered his resolve to spend his life making people laugh, think and feel. To date, his work has garnered five contest and festival wins alongside over fifteen finals placements.

Blomquist, a 2016 graduate of Indiana University with degrees in Scriptwriting and Telecommunications, devotes most of his time as a writer to a growing cache of feature screenplays and television scripts. By day, he works as an Assistant Director in the LA area and completes online graduate coursework in History through Eastern Illinois University.
