Biography

Alexandros Rellos is a Greek director and screenwriter known for his award-winning work in both fiction and documentary. A graduate of the Film Department at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, he gained early recognition with the documentary series Ti Fasi? (2018), which aired on Hellenic Parliament TV and was featured at the Thessaloniki Documentary Festival. His short film TolisLive i (Toronto) (2021) received multiple honors, including Best Newcomer Director at the Drama International Short Film Festival and Best Director from the Greek Directors' Guild. A Sarajevo Talents alumnus, he has presented work at international platforms such as Berlinale and CineKid Lab. His later projects include Kalokairino aeraki (2022), awarded at the Cannes World Film Festival, and the upcoming short Hero. In addition to filmmaking, he teaches acting for screen and has worked across film and television as a writer, editor, and assistant director.
