He's lived in places like China and Japan where he shot his first award winning movie '8 Steps to I Love You' and Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan shot his debut music video, 'She's An Instagram Model'. His goal is always to challenge himself through filmmaking and entertainment for in his words "there's no better purpose for the arts except the growth of the artist and learning what the muse can teach the artist and the audience in the process".

- During the initial promotion of "8 Steps to I Love You", director Keith Harris sought to contact some famous actors and actresses on twitter in hopes of gaining an extra seal of approval for his short proposal documentary. Kaley Cuoco (Penny) lead actress from the hit CBS show "Big Bang Theory" had a chance to see the short film and retweeted back that it was beautiful. It was by far for the new director of only a few months, one of his most prominent highlights working on this film.

On October 5th, 2016 "8 Steps to I Love You" took home the prize and was awarded "Best International Short Film".
