  • Al Fenderico was born on April 13th, 1992, in Naples (Italy). He is the grandson of the artist Totò Savio founder of the music group Squallor. Following the advice of Director Antonino Laudicina about a Theatre Company called "Compagnia di Antonino", he began to perform in shows they produced, such as "Christmas at the Cupiello's" in 2011, "Luck with the capital "L" in 2012, "Through Scarpetta's works" on 2014 while discovering a passion for the Acting in Comedy and Drama.

    At the same time, he graduated from the Diana Theatre of Naples in "Acting on Stage" in 2014. Soon after, he decided to move to Montreal (Canada) to follow other acting courses in English at ASM Performing Arts directed by Chip Chuipka, and an Acting Class directed by Tom Todoroff (Actor/Producer and Acting coach for the Hollywood Industry) at Tom Todoroff Conservatory from New York to Montreal (Canada).

    When he moved back to Naples, he continued to improve his acting skills, during his studies, he booked leading roles in two projects in Italian and English language, called respectively "An ordinary day" in the role of Alfredo, directed by Luca Visingardi; and right after, "Italian Alphabet" playing Irvin, directed by Maria Milusha, both nominated in national and international festivals. One of his passions is entertaining Children and Adults at events and tourist villages.

    During the summer of 2015, he moves to London to develop his acting, singing and dancing skills while working in the international film industry.

    At the same time, as founder of the company Make A Wish Film and Theatre Productions, He distributed the project named "The Italian Alphabet", and while distributing it at some international festivals, he then arrived as a Finalist at the Los Angeles Cinefest 2016. He produced a commercial called "Drive Responsibly" in Naples with production company Filma Manent, in which he is the lead as well.

    Besides, the production produced a commercial which was the winner of the 5th Festival of 2017 about road safety called "A madonna t'accumpagna, who drives is you" based in Naples. Soon after, he starts writing and directing his projects, so "hey you!" that sees him as a writer, producer, director and co-lead role as Diego.

    The short film premiered in international film festivals, was nominated and won a few awards, such as Honourable mention: screenplay and Honourable mention: inspirational film at Top Shorts online film festival 2018, December edition. Later, between 2017 and 2018, he performed for the show "The Small Enchanted Kingdom" as the Wolf and Peter Pan at Chiostro of San Domenico Maggiore in Naples (Italy), directed by Simone Malucchi.

    As founder of the company Make A Wish Film and Theatre Productions, Al develops award winning independent projects and podcasts, and his work with Hey You! and related films has earned several prizes including multiple Premio Vincenzo Crocitti awards as Best Emerging Actor, Best Emerging Director and Best Emerging Screenwriter, alongside further festival wins and nominations in Italy and abroad.

    His writing extends beyond the screen as the author of Show, Don’t Tell: A Step by Step Handbook for Aspiring Screenwriters, Producers, Directors from Greenlit to the Big Screen, available in Italian and English in print and digital formats, and the novel Belong: A Soul’s Diary, which expands his storytelling into literary fiction and is published through major online retailers and book stores. Across film, theatre and literature, he continues to use the arts as a tool for entertainment, empathy and social change.
