  • Francesco Le Metre is a Sicilian-born composer and pianist whose work spans film, television, and recorded music.

    He most recently scored "Being Heumann" (2026), the new film from Siân Heder, the Academy Award-winning writer-director of "CODA." His other screen credits include the GLAAD Media Award-winning Netflix documentary "Disclosure" (2020), "Unknown: Cave of Bones" (2023), and Misan Harriman's Oscar-nominated short "The After" (2023).

    Earlier in his career, Le Metre worked alongside Dustin O'Halloran and Volker Bertelmann, contributing to their Oscar-nominated score for "Lion" (2016), Bertelmann's "Adrift" (2018), and O'Halloran's BBC series "A Spy Among Friends" (2022), as well as with Rob Simonsen on "Love, Simon" and "Gifted."

    Outside of screen work, he has released a body of solo music including his debut album "Abroad" (2020) and singles such as "Falling For" and "Sunset," which mark his evolution from piano into electronic textures. His piece "Nocturne" has surpassed fifteen million streams worldwide.
