Born in Rome in 1985, I graduated in Production Design from the Academy of Fine Arts of Rome.
I started working as a draftman and concept artist while still studying.
I have worked alongside production designers Igor Gabriel, David Gropman, Eve Stewart and Suzie Davies, collaborating with directors such as Michele Soavi, Paolo Virzì, Abel Ferrara, Steven Zaillian and Tom Ford.
I've always been drawn to the more imaginative side of production design: creating worlds from the ground up, designing sets, and building environments from scratch. At the same time, I've always found location work just as rewarding.
I love discovering places and letting them shape the creative process. It's not just about making the most of a location's existing character, but about seeing what else it could become: reimagining it, transforming it, and sometimes giving it an entirely different identity to serve the story. That's one of the things I find most rewarding about this work.
