Biography

Sarita began her career in the entertainment industry at the age of five. She has enjoyed decades of performing live.

Also in her teens, she began working in the field of independent movies.

Sarita became a published writer in her late teens and went on to win the Editor's Choice Award two years running for outstanding achievement in a literary field by her mid twenties.

Sarita Callender and Ivory Ocean began working together to form a new movie production company. Sarita came on board to write, to provide screenplay adaptations and assist in directing while Ivory was looking forward to producing. Sadly six months after Sarita moved to California to begin making movies with Ivory, he passed away. After taking time out to grieve Sarita came back to write, direct and produce but her heart was not in it as passionately as before. Stepping away again she regrouped and started a new business; still in the entertainment industry, a video game production company, Press X 2 Play Games (2022) and already has offices in California and Michigan in America as well as England, Philippines and Australia with offices in the planning phase in Brazil and Kenya along with being well into the development of an MMO with more games in the early stages of development.

The movie industry has not let her step away completely as there is interest in producing a few of her scripts into movies as well as being invited to help produce a movie for others.

Sarita is also a professional speaker and consultant on the subject of Human Trafficking. She has spoken at churches, youth centers, colleges and universities as well as sitting on panels with other experts on the topic. Sarita has been working with the Department of Homeland Security for series of PSAs as part of the Blue Campaign and is involved with two documentaries on the subject of human trafficking as well as an independent NGO educational short.
