Biography

Anusha Nandakumar is a writer, director and producer based in Mumbai, India. She is a graduate of Direction and Screenplay Writing from Satyajit Ray Film and Television Institute, Kolkata. Anusha is one of the founders, Producers and Directors of Gulbadan Talkies Pvt Ltd a Mumbai-based Content Creation Company which owns BhaDiPa (Bharatiya Digital Party). Bha2Pa (Bharatiya Touring Party) and Vishay Khol - all Marathi entertainment content platforms. Anusha's film 'The Boxing Ladies' won the prestigious National Film Award in 2010. Anusha is the Co-Creator, Co-Writer and Episodic Director of 'Raakh', an upcoming thriller series for Amazon Prime Video. She is also the writer of Singham Again and Indian Police Force for Rohit Shetty. She has also produced and written Shantit Kranti, a Marathi series for SonyLiv and Radical, a series in production with Endemol Shine India.

Anusha is also a published author. Her book 'The War that Made R&AW' on the formation of R&AW and the 1971 war has gone into multiple reprints and continues to receive praise for shedding light on the unsung heroes of Indian intelligence.
