Mini bio

  • From food stamps to film scores, Jonathan Hull's journey to music has been defined by intensity, passion, and relentless drive. Growing up without access or resources to music, Hull worked tirelessly to pave a path for himself in the film and game industries. As a touring musician he performed internationally and studio producer he worked with artists like Jake Clemons (Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band), Tom Morello (Rage Against the Machine), and Eddie Kramer (Jimi Hendrix, The Beatles). As a composer he's scored ads for brands like Coca-Cola, Regal, Firefox, and Doritos, worked on trailer campaigns for Moana, Avatar: Fire & Ash, The Odyssey and Golden Globe winner Hamnet, as well as dozens of feature films, documentaries, and short films. His most recent work includes a collaboration with the London Symphony Orchestra (Star Wars, Harry Potter, The Shape of Water) for his album, 'The Ends of the Earth, ' a cinematic story experience that explores love, grief, and connection in a time when loneliness feels like an epidemic. He also continues to build his team around him, featuring Grammy-award winning score mixer Eva Reistad (Dune, 007, Alien: Romulus), BAFTA-winning recording engineer Fiona Cruickshank (Bugonia, How to Train Your. Dragon), as well as music prep experts and world class ensembles.
