Biography

Anna Hildebrandt is an award-winning Director and Producer based in Sydney, Australia.

After some years producing short films for fellow filmmakers, in 2017 Anna wrapped on her directorial debut 'Beyond the Bubble', a comedic short she produced with screenwriter Cec Parnell. Beyond the Bubble had its world premiere at the Sydney Film Festival in June 2017 and subsequently went on to screen at festivals around the world, picking up several awards along the way including 'Best Film' (Short+Sweet, Sydney), 'Best Writer/Screenplay' (Short+Sweet International Finals), 'Best Debut Film' (Deep Cut, Canada) and 'Best Made in Sydney: Extra Mile' (Sydney Indie Film Festival).

Before turning to production, Anna worked in Marketing and Publicity for film, television and advertising, substantially in the areas of animation and visual effects. Working for companies including Animal Logic, Fuel VFX and Iloura, film campaigns she worked on during those years include 'Mad Max: Fury Road', 'The SpongeBob Movie: Sponge Out of Water', 'The Avengers' and the Oscar-winning 'Happy Feet'.

In 2013 Anna launched her own business, Crispy Productions, to develop and produce original content for the screen.
