Ginger Tolar is an American Actress and Model. She was born in Asheville, North Carolina. This Southern Belle was always applying herself by using her talents at a young age. She started cheer-leading at age six, and continued cheering and entertaining through her senior year in high school with Chorus, Dance, and Drama. She graduated Charles D. Owen High School in 2005 and went on to pursue a career in Early Childhood Education.
Her chance to once again entertain a crowd came in 2011, when she began training to be a diva for her father's Independent Professional Wrestling company. After a neck injury, she began training less and looking for additional opportunities. That opportunity came in 2014, when she landed a promotional modeling job for local radio station 105.9 The Mountain as a Rock Girl. When this ended, she knew she had developed a passion for modeling and acting, and she was signed to Gage Models and Talent Agency just three weeks later.
In 2015, Tolar hit the entertainment industry full force, immediately landing a principal role on national television series Snapped: Killer Couples (2015) and a lead role in Lifecurse "Oceans of Space" music video. She later went on to film more episodes of national television series Snapped: Killer Couples, #KillerPosts, commercials for Olive Garden, Ripley's Aquaurium of the Smokies, Music Road Hotel, and a reoccurring role in trailers for the New York Times Best Seller "Serafina and the Black Cloak" book series where she was published in Entertainment Weekly. She landed a lead role in Tellico "Can't Go Home Again" music video, principal role in film "Something Taken, Something Used" (2017) and been in films "Rob is Terminal" (2017) and "Area-Pen 15" (2017). She has been is a music video for Posh Hammer, and numerous fashion segments on news stations such as WLOS ABC 13, and Channel 7 WSPA.
Ginger Tolar earned Bombshell status in 2017 when she landed a role as a 1970's Playboy Bunny on the television show Bill Cosby: An American Scandal (2017), a documentary covering Bill Cosby's career and (alleged) use of drugs to get what he wants. Leading up to the air date, she was in publications covering the show such as OK! Magazine, National Enquirer, US Magazine, Star Magazine, Radar Online, and RealScreen.com.
Ginger is also a published model. She has been in multiple magazines such as Capital at Play, Sophie, Mountain Style, The Laurel of Asheville, blogs such as Ashvegas.com and Asheville Grit, and newspapers Mountain Xpress and Citizen Times. She has done print work for numerous designers including The New Bohemian, Jon Pierce Fashions, Accentuates Clothing, Enchanted Forest, and VaVaVoom.
She is a veteran to runway and has walked in countless fashion shows and multiple fashion weeks across the south. She is also the Fashion Show Director for her nonprofit organization called The Appalachian Angels of WNC. When she is not in front of the cameras, she continues teaching preschool and helps to mold young minds in the community, This animal lover also helps many other nonprofit organizations such as Brother Wolfe, Charlies Angels, Asheville Humane Society, Friends 2 Ferrell and Animal Haven.
