One of six siblings, Cody was born and raised in Denver, Colorado. In 2011, he made the move to Los Angeles to study at the University of Southern California.
After college, he started Porch House Pictures with longtime friend, Andrew Schneider. Through Porch House Pictures, Cody has directed two short films: A Day in: Los Angeles (2015) & Soul Descends (2016), and has won Grand Prize from NewFilmmakers LA. He is working on his next short film: All Clear.
He resides in Santa Monica, CA.
