Michael Van, originally from the suburbs of Chicago, Illinois, is an American musician, sound designer, and filmmaker. At the age of 11, he discovered his love for editing videos and spent much of his free time creating short films and skateboarding videos. It wasn't until high school when he discovered music production and began recording local bands. After high school, Michael left Chicago to explore Montana and attend Montana State University in Bozeman. There, he studied film making and non-fiction storytelling, graduating with honors and receiving two awards in his senior year of college. After graduation, Michael moved to California and began working in the entertainment industry as a sound editor and sound designer in Burbank. His work has been featured in various television shows, films, and commercials. Michael Van's ability to seamlessly blend his skills in music production, film editing, and sound design has allowed him to create unique and impactful soundscapes for his projects. His work has been praised for its innovation and creativity, and he is considered a rising leader in the entertainment industry.
