Biography

Trent Harmon is an American singer and songwriter from Amory, Mississippi and is best known for appearing and winning the final 15th season of American Idol. Trent signed with Big Machine Records following American Idol. His first album can be best described as Country with a Rhythm & Blues influence. A cover of "Falling" he sang for his final American Idol performance peaked at 27 on Billboard's US Country Chart and was his first single with a follow-up single There's a Girl" planned.

Trent was born October 8, 1990 in Amory, Mississippi, the son of Cindy and Randy Harmon, owners of a family farm and restaurant called Longhorn. Trent began singing as a youth in church and continued to develop his passion through high school and college musical stage productions. He attended and graduated from Amory High School and the University of Arkansas at Monticello.
