Mark Holgate(II)

Mark Holgate joined Vogue in December 2003, and has been Fashion News Director of the magazine since June 2010. He joined Vogue from New York magazine, where he was Fashion Director. Prior to this, he had worked in his native Britain as the Fashion Features Editor of British Vogue, before relocating to New York in 2000. He attended London's Royal College of Art, where he achieved an MA in the History of Design, a joint course run in conjunction with the Victoria and Albert Museum. His final year thesis was, somewhat prophetically, dedicated to a study of Vogue's art direction in the post war period. In Holgate's own words: "There is such a great generation of young designers in New York right now that I want to watch and do whatever I can to help grow."
