Biography

Born in Cali, Colombia and raised in New York City, Jhonattan Ardila is a Los Angeles-based actor working across film, television, voice, and performance capture. Fluent in English, Spanish, and French, he has appeared in productions including Reacher (Amazon), The Boys (Prime Video), In the Shadow of the Moon (Netflix), Jett (Cinemax), Kim's Convenience (CBC), and Designated Survivor (ABC), while also lending his voice and performance to Ubisoft's Far Cry 6 and Watch Dogs: Legion. Known for bringing grounded authenticity and quiet intensity to his performances, Jhonattan is drawn to emotionally layered characters whose stories explore resilience, identity, family, and redemption. His background as a filmmaker has further shaped his approach to storytelling, giving him a strong understanding of character from both sides of the camera.

Driven by a desire to create meaningful representation on screen, Jhonattan has also written, directed, and produced independent films. His short film Dreams, which he wrote and directed, premiered at the New York Shorts International Film Festival and explores the experience of a young immigrant growing up in New York City.
