Donia Kash

Donia Kash is an award winning actor whose work spans film, television, and theater, with recent credits including Jem Garrard's SLAY and Hallmark's GLAAD nominated The Holiday Sitter, where they made history as the network's first non-binary performer. Born in Greece to Iranian Qashqai parents and raised in Canada, Donia brings a distinctive perspective shaped by displacement, cultural multiplicity, and a two-decade commitment to the craft. Their approach is rooted in precision informed by rigorous training in martial arts and dance and an instinct for finding the specific physical and emotional language of each character. As both performer and producer, having executive produced festival-selected shorts including Chris Lennox's Magic Trick, Donia understands storytelling from both sides of the camera. They seek collaborations with visionary filmmakers who push boundaries and explore the full complexity of human experience.
