Connor Cook is a composer and multi-instrumentalist. She is an accordionist first, but also plays mandolin, banjo, guitar, ukulele, and mandola. Connor holds a BM in Music Theory & Composition from Appalachian State University and a MFA in Music Composition for the Screen from Columbia College Chicago. Connor is a 3-time Sundance Fellow, a Sundance/MacArthur Foundation Grantee, a 2024 Vancouver International Film Festival Composer Filmmaker Accelerator Program Composing Fellow, a 2024 Innovator in the Keychange U.S. Program, a 2-time mentor in the ScreenCraft Works Cross Border Mentorship Scheme, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Alliance for Women Film Composers. Her work has been heard from NBC to Hallmark to Prime to film festivals all over the world. She frequently collaborates with composer Alexa L. Borden.
