Alex Astort-Fabra

Alex Astort-Fabra is a talented young actor known for his compelling performances on stage and screen. Born in Seattle, Washington, Alex is the son of Catalan parents and is fluent in English, Catalan, and Spanish. Alex's passion for acting began at a young age when he landed his first role in an Oliver Twist production at the Moore Theater with the Broadway Bound Company. He also started playing the violin at the same age, further developing his artistic abilities. At age 9, Alex and his family moved to Brooklyn, NY, where he continued to explore his love for acting through drama classes. At the age of 11, Alex performed in the Broadway production "Fresh Meat" directed by Hamza Zaman, and he later played the role of "son" in "The Blue Skies," also directed by Zaman. He starred in lead roles in several shorts produced by the NYU Tish School to gain experience acting on camera. Alex's talent and dedication to the craft led to his acceptance at the prestigious LaGuardia High School, where he majored in Drama and continued to develop his skills. He then received a merit/talent scholarship to attend Emerson College in Boston, where he earned a degree in Drama. Aside from acting, Alex has a variety of passions, including cooking, traveling, art, and history. Alex has also volunteered with young kids in non-privileged communities in South Africa and Malaysia.
