- I hosted a TV show about the Russian language there, visited the country twice, and lived there for almost a year. The Japanese really liked my voice and praised the program, although I was quite critical of myself. [re visiting Japan]
- Firstly, I have absolutely no desire to bare my soul publicly. Secondly, I think television is for young people; I don't want viewers to see me at an older age, and I don't have anything to tell them anyway. When I was young, that was one thing, but now I'm a housewife, a loving wife, a mother, and a grandmother.
